May I ask the experts for the calculation method for generating steam in the waste heat boiler of a synthesis plant?
It must be a complicated calculation; it depends on the temperature of the syngas as well as the temperature of the boiler feed water
It involves calculations of material balance and heat balance. Process calculations are generally very complex.
It’s quite complex; generally, it involves a combination of several heat exchangers, with the heat source coming from the heat generated by the gas produced in the second-stage furnace, in addition to other sources. There is also heat from the synthesis tower, which is used to heat the boiler feedwater
The process flow for each process package is different; the purpose of waste heat recovery is to maximize energy recovery
