I would like to ask: for industrial boilers that generate steam for external supply without recycling condensate water, what is the typical value for the continuous blowdown rate? What should the predetermined proportion for waste discharge be?
Whether you recover condensate or not, waste water still needs to be discharged. The purpose of sorting is to reduce the salt content in the boiler water and prevent scale formation. Generally, the design requirement is that the wastewater discharge volume should be 2–3% of the steam generation volume
I saw on the waste heat boiler that for industrial steam boilers using chemically softened water as make-up water, the continuous blowdown rate is 8–12%, and it can reach 15% when there is no heating load
