Hello, the data read by the smoke dust monitor for online monitoring of flue gas in our circulating fluidized bed boilers is consistently above the acceptable levels. After the furnace was shut down, experiments were conducted to measure the water vapor (mist) generated by the spray water; the measured value was 100 (the upper limit). What should be done in this situation? Which type of dust monitor would be more suitable? :handshake
Aren’t they all ultra-low emission meters these days?
Recommended countermeasures: 1. Check whether the water collector at the top of the desulfurization tower is damaged; Are there any damages or flow deviations in the nozzles throughout? ; Check whether the packing in the desulfurization tower is in good condition. 2. Is the installation location of the dust particle concentration sensor proper (it must meet the requirements regarding the distance between the chimney opening and the ground; I forgot to check that, so the original poster should verify it – if the height is not sufficient, monitoring will not be possible). 3. It is advisable to install an air purge nozzle at the position of the probe’s sleeve (to remain on during operation and prevent dust and mist from sticking to the glass), and to regularly inspect and clean the probe. 4. An infrared probe can be considered (this is the type we use; for more details, you can consult companies specializing in environmental protection equipment). 5. If nothing else works, install the probe at a higher position (I believe there is a minimum required position, but no maximum; it’s worth checking again). 6. Take a photo of the smoke coming out of the boiler chimney (indicate the temperature), Mianmian, learn from it*.
