The tube sheet features square tube arrangement, but the baffle plates are notched at 45°. Finally, it is classified as a corner square arrangement in accordance with GB151. Is this design reasonable?
I don’t quite understand. I have a question: are the tubes easy to thread?
Is it a regular shape or a square depending on the flow direction?
Whether it is reasonable depends on the specific operating conditions; since a standard form of angled square exists, it must have its applicability.
Whether the heat exchange tubes should be arranged in a rotated square shape or a regular square shape is determined based on the flow direction of the medium, or as specified by the process engineering team.
As long as you can fit tubes in and the heat exchange tubes can be cleaned, that’s sufficient
It is determined by the flow direction of the medium; personally, I don’t think there’s much difference between corners and squares when using them
According to the GB/T151-2014 standard, based on the combination of piping layout and medium flow direction, it is acceptable to use a square shape. It should be of the fixed tube sheet type; floating head and U-tube designs with such notches are quite rare
Whether it’s a square or a corner square is determined by the flow direction of the medium; was the drawing done incorrectly? The direction of the notch is generally up, down, left, or right, for oil or gas drainage – at a 45-degree angle? Are there any slides that haven’t been installed yet?
