My concern is this: Will the equipment specialists in design institutes gradually be replaced by manufacturers in the future? What do people think of the equipment department in design institutes, and what do they think of design institutes/engineering companies? The chemical industry always says: Using money earned from selling cabbage, with the mindset of those who sell heroin. Then why do so many people still do it? I prefer stability, but I also enjoy challenges; at this moment, I am feeling confused.
What kind of material is this? Can you share it?

I think one should pursue a diversified range of studies; relying on a single area of specialization is not sufficient to keep up with the evolving circumstances. Actually, there is a contradiction here; diversity implies a lack of mastery in any particular skill. What isn’t contradictory is the comprehensive development in various areas related to one’s own specialty. If you want to make money, you first need to make yourself valuable by improving your knowledge and cognitive skills, as well as enhancing your confidence and ability to solve problems on the spot. That is, the ability to solve practical problems and achieve immediate results. There’s also the matter of mindset and mental strength – one needs to be confident, but not reckless.
These days, many equipment manufacturers do indeed design their products perfectly, and there are also many of them that possess the necessary design qualifications, producing designs that are even better than those created by design institutes
That’s indeed the case; now is the time to learn as much as possible when one has the energy to do so, and to learn in a quality-driven, experience-based manner; These are all my own matters; there are no longer teachers at school to oversee them or parents to watch over them. Now it depends on oneself, on a good master. When it comes to one’s own affairs, there is a saying: There are three things in the world: first, one’s own affairs; second, other people’s affairs; and third, matters related to God. Worries arise from forgetting one’s own affairs, meddling in others’ affairs, and worrying about matters beyond one’s control. It’s simple to be happy: do your own things, mind your own business, and don’t worry about other people’s affairs or what God intends...
Does that mean that in the future, manufacturing plants will gradually replace equipment? Do the design firms that exist today outsource the work related to equipment, meaning that equipment is no longer important to them?
Indeed, as stated in the documents, the manufacturing plant designs the vast majority of the manufacturing drawings.
I’m currently working on a project; I’m in communication with the design institute. All equipment parameters are obtained from the equipment manufacturers, and most of the drawings are also provided by those manufacturers
The development direction of the equipment department in design institutes should focus on equipment selection and preliminary design; manufacturing plants can only carry out detailed construction drawings, and they will never be able to replace the work done by design institutes.
