15CrMoR(H) is 15CrMoR steel that has been treated at high temperatures and possesses resistance to hydrogen embrittlement. These technical specifications apply to the production and inspection of 15CrMoR(H) steel plates with a thickness of 8–60 mm. 15CrMoR(H): Available in coils, dimensions 152*0375, grade #0895.I. Chemical composition of 15CrMoR(H):
– Composition analysis: Ni, Cu, Sb, Sn, As – maximum values specified;
– Melting analysis values: ≤0.20, ≤0.20, ≤0.003, ≤0.015, ≤0.016, ≤2 ppm;
– Finished product analysis values: ≤0.20, ≤0.20, ≤0.003, ≤0.015, ≤0.016, ≤2 ppm.
II. Melting analysis and finished product analysis for 15CrMoR(H):
– Composition analysis: C, Si, Mn, P, S, Cr, Mo;
– Melting analysis values: 0.12~~0.18, 0.15~~0.40, 0.40~~0.70, ≤0.010, ≤0.010, 0.8~~1.2, 0.45~~0.60;
– Finished product analysis values: 0.10~~0.20, 0.13~~0.43, 0.37~~0.73, ≤0.012, ≤0.010, 0.75~~1.25, 0.43~~0.62.
Note: (1) Melting analysis should be conducted by taking samples from each furnace (tank); product analysis (including the X factor) should be carried out by taking samples from each batch delivered. (2) Elements marked with “*” record the analysis results. Under the premise of ensuring melting analysis, finished product analysis may not be conducted. III. The smelting method for 15CrMoR(H) involves an electric furnace combined with off-furnace refining, along with vacuum degassing as part of the processing process. V. Condition of 15CrMoR(H): The steel plates are delivered in a normalized (with allowed accelerated cooling) + tempered condition. VI. Execution standards for 15CrMoR(H): GB713—2014; execution standard for Wuyang Iron and Steel’s hydrogen-handling 15CrMoR(H) product: WYJ410-2008. VII. Applications of 15CrMoR(H): 15CrMoR(H) is used in the petroleum and petrochemical industries, chemical equipment manufacturing firms, power plant construction, as well as in the manufacture of boilers and pressure vessels. It is employed in the production of reactors, heat exchangers, separators, spherical tanks, oil and gas tanks, liquefied gas tanks, pressure vessels for nuclear reactors, liquefied petroleum gas cylinders, and turbine casings. Due to the harsh operating conditions in industries such as petroleum chemistry, coal conversion, nuclear power, turbine manufacturing, and thermal power generation, this material is used in the construction and manufacturing of large-scale equipment subjected to complex corrosive environments, including devices such as wash towers, second conversion furnaces, coke towers, desulfurization tanks, waste heat boilers for converted gas, methanation furnaces, reactors, regenerators, hydrogenation reactors, methanation heaters, and steam generators for converted gas.
