Yet, in my over 10 years of experience, I have never seen any guidelines for the proper use and management of liquid product tanks and intermediate product tanks in chemical plants. Due to a recent job transfer, I am now in charge of several liquid storage tanks, and I’ve found that there is a lack of proper daily management and maintenance. After consulting with senior colleagues and conducting online searches, I was unable to find any relevant guidelines for the use and management of such tanks in chemical plants. Do any of you have any relevant materials or suggestions? I would be very grateful if you could share your knowledge.
It seems there are no specific laws or regulations.
For such pressure vessels, a manufacturer’s quality certificate, material test reports, hydrostatic test reports, and inspection reports (for Class I, II, or III pressure vessels) are required.
