For air/nitrogen vertical storage tanks, the equipment is about 8 meters high. Can the safety valve of this pure gas storage tank be installed on the middle and lower part of the cylinder? Because there is no operating platform installed on the top, it is inconvenient for maintenance. I want to install it on the lower part. Is this allowed? Is there any basis for this?

In many cases, the safety valve is not installed directly on the equipment, but at a certain position on the pipeline.
There is no requirement that the safety valve must be installed on the top of the container. There is no such requirement in any standard. Generally, only the entrance cross-sectional area, vertical installation, etc. of the Unicom are stipulated.
Doesn’t GB150 stipulate that the safety valve body should be at the top of the container and vertically upward?
In fact, it is said that it is installed at the top, probably because in the gas phase space, the pressure may be the highest pressure reached at the top. In fact, there is no requirement that it must be placed at the highest point, but it must be installed vertically. Watch TSG:
Liuheyi said this: There is no mention that it must be on the top, but it must be installed vertically.
Which page of GB150 does this sentence come from?
The position of the safety valve of the gas storage tank is fixed, and the user is not recommended to make any changes. We also have six or seven-meter-high pressurized storage tanks, some with safety valves designed at the top, and some with safety valves at the waist. It is indeed troublesome to perform the annual inspection at high places, but I dare not move it, and I am not willing to make holes in the tank at all (the special equipment manager cannot agree, otherwise the problem will be too big if the annual inspection fails. ). He could only curse silently, “Which brother-in-law bought it? ”
This is the 150 bleed device setting, you can read it carefully
