How should the fatigue count of 20,000 cycles specified as the design service life for the gas cylinder bank be understood?
In other words, the number of filling cycles is 20,000
The 20,000 cycles of fatigue refer to the number of pressure cycles under the designed pressure conditions shown in the graph (such as 25–20 MPa); it can also be understood as the number of charging and discharging cycles. The equipment’s structure is subjected to fatigue analysis based on this number of cycles; reaching that number does not mean the equipment can no longer be used – appropriate tests can be conducted to determine whether it can still be utilized.
I’ve learned that there should be requirements regarding the number of times of filling, and it needs to be under control.
Based on the number of cycles, fatigue-prone equipment generally lasts around 10 years
The fatigue testing equipment we design has a design life of 30 years, with tens of millions of stress cycles :)
Under normal circumstances, the time limit is reached first, unless you use it too frequently.
