The SW6 tube sheet verification indicates that the verification has failed; what should be done – adjust or select an expansion joint with lower stiffness?

For the heat exchanger you designed, the temperature difference stress calculated to be excessive; it could be that the tensile stress on the heat exchange tubes is too high or the compressive stress is too high. The appropriate action to take depends on the extent of this excess. If the excess is not significant, it may be possible to resolve the issue by adjusting factors such as the number of heat exchange tubes, the thickness of the tube sheet, and the thickness of the shell. If the temperature difference stress is too high, it can only be addressed by adding expansion joints. By the way, this is not a SW6 issue; it’s a calculation problem that has little to do with the software.
If either the axial stress of the shell, the axial stress of the heat exchange tubes, or the pulling force between the heat exchange tubes and the tube sheet is not within the specified limits, this warning will be displayed.
