How to draw a single-line diagram of pressure pipelines in a way that meets standard requirements?

I now want to redraw the company’s pressure pipelines based on the actual conditions on site, but it’s very difficult to create a single-line diagram of these pipelines – mistakes can easily occur. Does anyone have any tips for drawing such diagrams effectively? Could you help recommend some? Thanks!
There’s no special trick to this. First, go to the site, bring a pencil and blank paper, establish a coordinate system for east, west, south, and north, draw the draft there, and then return to use CAD to convert it into DWG format. The requirements for a single-line diagram are: the layout direction must be accurate, and all pressure pipeline components and welds must be clearly shown on the diagram; if the pipes are insulated, then the welds need not be indicated. It is advisable to clearly indicate on each diagram the flow direction of the medium, the approximate location of the supports and hangers, and the pipe specifications (outer diameter × wall thickness).
