The long type is the same as the welded flange with a neck – is it also welded to the pipe at the neck area? It would be best to provide a detailed diagram. . .
The overall flange does not have any pipes attached to it; the flange and the forged pipe are integrated as one unit, which can be directly welded to the housing. Take a look at the pipe flange standards; it’s listed there.
