On a business trip, I visited over a dozen chemical machinery factories in southern Jiangsu; in most cases, I was taken to large, spacious manufacturing facilities. When I asked to visit the heat treatment workshops as well, strange reactions occurred: either they changed the subject, suggested visiting in the afternoon, or said that the heat treatment workers were sick. Finally, after persistent insistence from my side, one factory allowed me to enter the pressure vessel processing workshop – only to find it covered in dust, seemingly not in use for several years. What do you think is the reason for this?

Ah, there really is such a problem – heat treatment furnaces are rarely used in practice; sometimes, \"electric heating elements + insulation\" is used as a substitute for heat treatment, which is both fast and convenient. It seems that manufacturers are simplifying the heat treatment processes and being lazy.
It is necessary to assign a supervision engineer to the factory for monitoring and inspection; this expense cannot be cut.
Moreover, it requires the supervisor to send ITP reports regularly.
