I’m a complete novice when it comes to pressure vessels, and I have a question for the experts here. The cylinder material is 09MnNiDR, and tempering is required. What is the appropriate tempering temperature? I would appreciate it if the experts could advise me.

What’s the confusion about? Some people say that 650 degrees is the tempering temperature for the quenching and tempering process, which falls under high-temperature tempering, while normalizing followed by tempering requires low-temperature tempering, around 300 degrees
Normalizing, tempering at 640~680 degrees; I don’t see the need for quenching and tempering.
