Pressure vessel design recertification

Next year, the company needs to renew its certification for pressure vessel design. I heard that all those involved in design work (including those responsible for approval) must take an exam. Does anyone have a question bank related to this topic? Could you share it with me? Thank you!
Those holding an examiner certificate issued by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Boilers and Pressure Vessels are exempt from the exam. The exam questions for other people are set by the evaluation body.
A few days ago, a teacher from an assessment and evaluation agency said that if the certification was renewed after November 2017, it becomes invalid and one has to take a 3-hour closed-book exam. I’m not sure whether this statement is reliable.
It depends on which evaluation body is invited; generally, the approval certificate issued by the evaluation committee is accepted. Exams still need to be taken seriously; it’s not easy to get high scores either.

Yes, it’s reliable; that’s exactly how we handled the certificate renewal this year. All auditors’ certificates became invalid, and they, just like the designers, had to take exams and defend their qualifications
We renewed our A1/A2/A3 certificates last year, and the examiner didn’t conduct an exam. All the remaining personnel will take the exam. The exam questions are randomly selected from a question bank; I remember that the short-answer questions at the end were all of a summarizing nature. It can’t be found even in the books. There seems to be a question like: Factors to consider when designing CrMo steel. That’s more or less what it means.
