I have doubts regarding their continuous drainage systems; I wonder whether these systems are appropriate. Please share your opinions! 1. Can a continuous sewage discharge pipe be installed on top of the boiler? II. The boiler is installed on the first floor, while the continuous blowdown expansion vessel is located on the third floor, about 20 meters apart. Is this design reasonable? Does it work? Continuous discharge is also known as surface discharge; this method involves continuously removing the water with the highest concentration from the surface layer of the boiler water. Its function is to reduce the salt content and alkalinity in the water in the pot ; Continuous discharge uses the pressure within the boiler to push the surface wastewater into the continuous discharge expansion tank, where it is safely discharged after pressure balance is achieved. The pressure inside the boiler is much higher than the hydrostatic pressure at a height of 20 meters; therefore, the installation height of the expansion tank has no impact on the continuous blowdown operation. Under normal conditions, continuous wastewater discharge operates automatically without the need for manual intervention, so it is fine to install it on the third floor.
The rows are generally installed at the same height as the boiler, rarely higher than it; it is unknown whether the pressure difference in the pipelines will affect the blowdown process. Water backflow in the pipelines when the boiler is shut down is also a problem.
As I thought, the continuous discharge expansion tank should not be above the center line of the upper drum
Agree with the view from the second floor; the boiler pressure is much higher than that of the blowdown expansion vessel
