Question: What material should be used to manufacture concentrated sulfuric acid with a concentration of 96%-98.5% in order to meet safety requirements? The storage tank has a capacity of 20 cubic meters; can PP or PVC plastic be used (with a wall thickness of 10 mm)? Thank you!
I made 5 such jars not long ago, made of carbon steel
It is usually made of carbon steel with a wall thickness of 10 mm. Some design firms said that it’s also acceptable to use PP or PVC plastics. Would it be better to use that anti-corrosion material for the embankments around it as well? Thank you!
