Notice on Holding the “First Training Session on Boiler and Pressure Vessel Standards in 2021”

The National Technical Committee for Standardization of Boilers and Pressure Vessels (hereinafter referred to as the “Committee”) aims to further enhance the proper understanding of newly issued standards among those working in the field of boilers and pressure vessels, as well as to improve their professional skills and work capabilities. Therefore, it will hold the “First 2021 Training Course on Boiler and Pressure Vessel Standards” in Haikou from April 12 to 16, 2021. This training course is intended for pressure vessel design approvers, pressure vessel designers (including those responsible for analytical design), inspectors of boilers and pressure vessels, and other managers involved in the oversight of such equipment. It is estimated that 520 people will apply to join this class. They will be divided into Group A, consisting of 260 people (Haikou Xiangjiang International Hot Spring Hotel), and Group B, also consisting of 260 people (Hainan Sailong Jidi Hotel), until the capacity is reached. This training course has specially invited the main drafters of ** and industry standards, as well as industry experts, to serve as instructors. Upon completion of the training, participants who are responsible for the design approval and analysis of pressure vessels will receive a total of 40 hours of continuing education credits, and a certificate confirming these credits will be issued to all attendees. The details regarding the training session are as follows:**Training topics:** 1) Composite sheets for pressure vessels; 2) Key design considerations for spherical storage tanks; 3) Design of ultra-high pressure vessels; 4) Selection of non-destructive testing methods for pressure equipment and recent advancements in this field.
