Workshop equipment: air compressor, ~10 cubic meter storage tank, refrigerated dryer, ~20 cubic meter storage tank, for workshop gas use. The management proposed to reduce the startup time of the air compressors by connecting two air storage tanks in parallel to increase the air storage capacity, with the setup being: air compressor ~ 10/20 cubic meters storage tanks in parallel ~ refrigerated dryer ~ air for use in the workshop. I think the same way too; the pressure in a series-connected pipeline is the same everywhere, and both storage tanks supply air to the workshop simultaneously when in use. However, the management believes that the upstream storage tank will not supply gas to the workshop in a timely manner, so operating in parallel will suffice. I explained that parallel connection can help address the issue of insufficient gas supply for high instantaneous demands in the workshop (such a situation does not exist in the workshop), but it cannot increase the gas storage capacity.
