The basic requirements for safety valves are to ensure that pressure vessels can operate at normal working pressures; therefore, safety valves must meet the following requirements: a. Good sealing performance. It remains completely leak-tight under normal operating pressure. b. The movements are sensitive and reliable. When the pressure on the inlet side reaches the specified opening pressure, it can open automatically and quickly to allow smooth exhaust. c. When in the open position, the valve disc operates stably, without any abnormal phenomena such as frequency fluctuations, fluttering, or sticking. d. At the discharge pressure, the intermediate valve is in the fully open position, achieving the rated displacement. e. After activating the exhaust pressure relief, it should be able to be closed promptly, while maintaining a sealed state.
