Hello, teachers! The operating pressure is 20 kPa, the gases are H2 and CO, and the volume of the separator is approximately 0.8 m3. Should this separator be designed as a pressure vessel or as a vessel operating at atmospheric pressure? If the gas is acetylene, should the separator be designed as a pressure vessel or a vessel at atmospheric pressure?
In my opinion, pressure vessels should be subject to pressure, with their design pressure increased
At atmospheric pressure, the pressure is too low; 20 KPA is negative pressure, right?
