I would like to ask for advice on selecting the type of composite steel plate end cap for a medium-pressure vessel. The design pressure is 8.4 MpaG, the nominal diameter is 2600 mm, and the materials used are Q345R + S31268. Is it better to use a standard elliptical end cap or a spherical end cap? What are the manufacturing processes for these two types of end caps?
