Our facility has two pressure vessels (with mixing tanks), and the actual operating conditions do not reach the pressure levels required for such vessels; it is less than 0.1 MPa. Our company wishes to increase the capacity of this storage tank; this pressure vessel has already been registered for use. Now the leader wants to make changes secretly, without going through the proper procedures. Question: 1. Must pressure vessels be used in accordance with their intended purpose? If their use is changed and they no longer meet the conditions for use as pressure vessels, can they be scrapped and then used as ordinary vessels? 2.
