Could any kind-hearted person provide some information on the thermal calculation and structural design of heating systems for hot water networks? I would be very grateful
For information on the thermal calculations and structural design of heat network heaters, refer to the following: 1. Thermal calculation methods for heat network heaters. The thermal calculations related to heat network heaters involve the determination of parameters such as flow rate, temperature, and pressure. Among them, flow rate and temperature are important factors determining the heat exchange efficiency, while pressure affects the selection and design of the equipment. The thermal calculation methods for heat network heaters include heat transfer calculations, fluid dynamics calculations, and thermodynamics calculations, among others. Among them, heat transfer calculation is the core part of the thermal calculation for heat network heaters; it determines the thermal efficiency of the heat exchanger by calculating parameters such as the heat transfer coefficient, heat transfer area, and heat transfer temperature difference. 2. Structural design of the hot water network heater The structural design of the hot water network heater includes aspects such as selection, layout, heat transfer area, and corrosion and insulation protection. When selecting a model, parameters such as flow rate, temperature, and pressure, as well as factors like the material and size of the equipment, need to be taken into consideration. In the design of the layout and heat transfer area, it is necessary to take into account the actual operating environment and requirements of the equipment. Furthermore, corrosion prevention and heat insulation are also important aspects in the structural design of heat network heaters. Corrosion protection can be achieved through methods such as coating or encapsulation, while insulation requires the selection of appropriate insulating materials and thickness. The above provides some information on the thermal calculations and structural design of heat network heaters; I hope it will be helpful to you. For more detailed information, it is recommended to consult relevant professional books or seek advice from experts. .
It’s just an ordinary soda heat exchanger; nowadays, most of them use stainless steel tubes. 1 square meter with 0.1 mW – that’s how we do the calculations, as the steam generated by the turbine is a fixed parameter; similarly, the water supply and return levels of 70–120 are also fixed values. So there’s no need to calculate it; it’s all the same. For those over 500 square meters, expansion is required; there are photos available online
I have just started working in this field. Most of the projects involve areas of 2,000 to 3,000 square meters. When other colleagues in my unit prepare bids, they have to calculate many things, such as the average logarithmic temperature difference, heat transfer coefficients, pressure drops, the volume of water tanks, and the determination of water levels – there are too many to list here! A thermal calculation report also needs to be prepared. If you have any information on this, please share it or communicate with me privately

There are a few books that I consider important: 1. \"Comprehensive Book on Chemical Engineering Equipment Design – Heat Exchangers\", 2. \"Process Calculation Manual for Cooling Equipment\" by Liu Wei, 3. \"Principles and Design of Heat Exchangers\" by Shi Meizhong. I graduated in 1989. There was this amazing book back then: a heat exchanger design manual by Eiichiro Ogawa from Japan. I’m not sure if it’s still available for purchase.
