At the project site, the EO/EG scrubber towers rise like silver dragons in the center of the area, with dozens of steel cables firmly holding this massive structure in place. With the commander’s order, the last foundation bolt was precisely inserted into the anchor plate and hydraulically tightened, marking the completion of the lifting process. The device weighs over 2,560 tons and is 109 meters long; with its additional fittings in place, its total lifting weight reaches 3,250 tons, setting a record for tower structures of this type worldwide. To ensure the proper installation of the key tower vessels, the project management team has established a 24-hour response system to guarantee seamless coordination between design, procurement, and construction, while maintaining full control over quality, safety, and schedule ； Contractors, patent holders, manufacturers, and the project owner’s team work together efficiently to continuously pursue technological advancements and optimize solutions, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery ； The special task force for major projects in the Gulei Development Zone coordinates the efforts of maritime authorities, public security agencies, transportation services, and power supply entities to ensure close cooperation, and prepares various emergency plans in advance to facilitate the safe arrival of large-scale equipment at the port and into the factories ； EPC, construction, and supervision teams work in close coordination through daily meetings to ensure that issues such as technical challenges and personnel allocation are resolved without delay” ； More than 300 construction workers, along with 24 pieces of machinery, worked in shifts, at different times and in a coordinated manner to accelerate the progress of completing the construction ； The hydraulic lifting equipment used for lifting was delivered to Gulei well in advance, and its assembly was completed 40 days earlier than scheduled... Sinopec No. 10 Construction Co., Ltd., which has over 2,000 years of experience in constructing petrochemical and energy facilities, is the contractor responsible for building the EO/EG plants. “In the face of construction challenges such as large project scales and limited site space, the company established a dedicated leadership team and set up on-site command posts to coordinate resource allocation as well as ensure safety and quality control. ”Pan Chongjun, the project manager of the company, explained that before installing the washing tower, the construction team carried out 4 rounds of planning. By using 3D modeling technology, they determined every step of the process as well as the personnel and machinery required for each task.
