This \"steel giant\", standing 113.5 meters tall, weighing over 1,385 tons, and with a diameter of 7.6 meters, as the tallest and largest tower in the project, was officially delivered to the owner. The China Coal Yulin project is the first large-scale coal chemical project to be approved following the implementation of the **\"dual carbon\" strategic goals, and it holds great significance. For the project’s 900,000 tons per year olefin separation unit, 2.35 million tons per year methanol-to-olefins unit, and other associated facilities, Hailu Heavy Industry manufactured 17 key core pieces of equipment. The 2# propylene distillation column shipped this time is extremely difficult to manufacture; it features large dimensions and numerous diameter changes, with complex welding and pressure testing processes, as well as significant challenges in maintaining straightness and ovality. In the face of these challenges, the management, technical, and production teams at Hailu Heavy Industry worked day and night for 190 days, starting from the arrival of the first steel plate on December 10, 2024. They not only completed the manufacturing process with high quality but also set a new record by achieving this in just 190 days – the shortest time ever recorded for manufacturing equipment weighing over 1,385 tons – thus securing valuable time for the project’s progress.
