In a shell-and-tube heat exchanger, is the condensate formed inside the tube side or the shell side? The steam trap discharges vapor from within the shell, right?
It’s usually in the shell side; it depends on the medium in the other side
One is steam and the other is water; in a bathhouse, the shell can be drained through a drain valve, right?
Yes. It’s best to use demineralized water for pipeline water, as it reduces the risk of leaks; P;P
We use process water; why use deionized water, and what is its purpose? Thank you
I’m not sure what kind of water you mean by \"process water\". Demineralized water can reduce chloride-induced corrosion and prevent corrosion and leakage in heat exchangers
