Recently, the water content in the products has often exceeded the specified limits. Initially, it was suspected that the raw materials contained water; however, after removing the water from the raw materials, it was found that visible water could frequently be discharged from the backflow pneumatic valve of the finished product coating system. Can it be concluded that corrosion and leakage in the heat exchanger are the cause of this issue?
It can now be basically confirmed that the heat exchanger is leaking
Is it the pressure of the material that is high, or the pressure of the circulating water? If the pressure of the material is high, shut off the inlet and outlet water for the lower circulation system, and open the exhaust valve at the top of the circulation pipe; if gas from the material can be discharged, then there is definitely a leak. If the pressure of the circulating water is high, stop the discharge; disconnect it from the material water cooler pipeline – if water can be drained, there is definitely a leak.
