Two high-temperature (320°C, 1.5 MPa) heat exchangers connected in series were selected; an experienced employee in the company said, “It is necessary to verify the manufacturer’s production capabilities and practical application experience, and considering that 4 units connected in series might be a better option.” May I ask, is it difficult to manufacture a DN1600 heat exchanger under such operating conditions?

If the space permits, a parallel arrangement would be better. In series connection, the voltage drop issue must be taken into account. :lol

What the veteran employees say makes sense! A temperature of 320 degrees and a diameter of 1600 mm – it’s not that it can’t be done, but it poses a serious challenge to the sealing mechanism! Insufficient machining precision or thermal deformation can easily cause leakage.

Nowadays, devices are generally becoming larger, and it is no problem to manufacture heat exchangers of this size.
