Calculation of lateral displacement of expansion joints

I would like to ask my friends in the industry. According to GB16749-1997, the maximum single-wave displacement of waveform expansion joints of various specifications can be found out based on the table. However, when designing expansion joints, lateral displacement will be considered. This is not mentioned in the standard. I would like to ask you how to calculate it:)
