This is my first time dealing with design in this field. The main issues I’m facing at the moment are as follows: 1. In the calculation of the wall thickness for the molten salt tank, the minimum wall thickness is only 0.0003 meters (without taking into account any corrosion allowance). Is this normal? 2. What type of structure is generally used for oil-salt heat exchangers? 3. How should the electric heating system for the tank be arranged? I would appreciate guidance from experts in this field. With low pressure, the minimum wall thickness is generally thin. For general heat exchanger design, GBT151 can be referenced. Electric heating generally involves inserting elements into the interior of the cylinder to provide heat

The electric heating element can be attached to the outer wall of the tank, but the heat transfer efficiency is not satisfactory; it is recommended to insert the electric heating element directly into the tank for heating
The calculation result for such a thin wall thickness is definitely unreasonable; it must be at atmospheric pressure, right? Take a close look at the design standards you need to follow; they should contain certain specifications, including a minimum value such as 0.002 or 0.003 – it can’t be determined simply by using a formula.
