Regarding the dimensions of the floating head gaskets in shell-and-tube heat exchangers

The equipment specifies that the gasket standard should be GB/T29463.2-2012; however, this standard does not provide dimensions for floating head gaskets larger than DN900. So how should the dimensions of such gaskets be determined? Can the dimensions specified in JB/T4719-92 be used for these gaskets? Static seal
When calculating, the dimensions specified in JB/T4719-92 are used; if the calculations yield satisfactory results, it can be used. Personally, I believe that JB/T4719-92 has been in use for so many years now; there shouldn’t be any problems with it.
