What type of evaporator is used in vacuum salt production? Is it a tubular falling film evaporator or a forced circulation evaporator?

I agree with the original poster’s view. Nowadays, many manufacturing plants, in an effort to maximize profits and sales, recommend forced circulation evaporation to their customers; however, different operating conditions and materials require the use of appropriate types of heat exchangers

High water hardness and high organic content – of course, forced circulation is required. Forced circulation has a high flow rate, allowing for the circulation of salt; the risk of blockage is relatively low, while its energy consumption is slightly higher than that of falling film circulation. Another point is that, for example, in the low-concentration range no salts will be produced; it’s entirely possible to use falling film circulation first, while employing forced circulation in the high-concentration range.
