The intake pressure should not exceed the pump’s maximum allowable operating pressure; compressed air at a pressure higher than the rated value can cause personal injury, property damage, and impair the pump’s performance. 3. Ensure that the pipeline system responsible for maintaining the pressure of the chemical pump can withstand the highest output pressure reached, and maintain clean conditions as well as proper operating conditions for the drive gas system. 4. Static electricity sparks can cause explosions, leading to injuries and property damage; therefore, use wires with a sufficiently large cross-sectional area as needed, and ensure that the grounding screws on the diaphragm pump are properly and securely grounded. 5. Ensure that all components in contact with the conveyor are not corroded or damaged by the fluid being conveyed. 6. Ensure that all operators are familiar with the operation and use of the pump, as well as aware of the safety precautions for its use; provide the necessary protective equipment if required. 7. Use the appropriate chemical pump; it is not allowed to run idle for extended periods of time.
