The stainless steel chain plate is an important component of chain plate conveyors; it is made by stamping stainless steel sheets, forming them into loops, and then assembling them together. It has good load-bearing capacity and stable weather resistance. Stainless steel chain plates are a type of commonly used transmission component, and they are employed in many food processing machines these days. However, over time it becomes apparent that the gap specified in the quality inspection reports for these stainless steel chain plates gradually decreases. Why is this? What measures should we take in the face of this phenomenon? 1. High temperatures reduce the gaps in stainless steel chain plates. We know that stainless steel chain plates are usually used in high-temperature environments, and it is the principle of thermal expansion and contraction that occurs due to these high temperatures. Especially when the temperature exceeds 400 degrees, there is a significant reduction in the gaps. This results in increased wear on the stainless steel chain plates; therefore, it is essential to control the operating temperature properly. The temperature should be kept at the appropriate level – it must not be exceeded, as this not only poses safety risks but also causes severe damage to the stainless steel chain plates. III. Exposure of stainless steel chain plates to environments containing inert materials leads to a reduction in the gaps between them. Another factor that contributes to this reduction is that when these stainless steel chain plates are exposed to inert materials, they become thinner; this increases the degree of wear during operation, and as a result rust can affect the smooth rotation of the rollers, thereby severely impacting the efficiency of food processing machinery and even threatening its operational performance and lifespan. Therefore, we must not ignore the phenomenon of reduced gaps in the stainless steel chain plates; it is essential to seriously investigate the causes, identify the problems promptly, and take decisive actions to address them. Only in this way can we ensure the proper functioning of the stainless steel chain plates, as well as provide effective support for the proper operation of food processing machinery.
