Spiral steel pipes are mainly used in water supply projects, the petrochemical industry, the chemical industry, the power industry, agricultural irrigation, and urban construction. Spiral steel pipes feed the steel strip into a welded pipe manufacturing unit; through multiple passes of rolling, the steel strip is gradually curled to form a circular pipe billet with an open gap. By adjusting the compression amount of the extrusion rollers, the weld gap is kept between 1 and 3 mm, and the ends of the weld are made even. This device can continuously roll seamless steel, Piergé seamless steel, straight-seam welded pipes, spiral-welded pipes, etc. It can be installed on production lines for on-line measurement, or on flaw detection and inspection lines to measure the outer diameter of the finished pipes. The device is equipped with two sets of dual heads whose measurement ranges can be adjusted. The adjustment of these ranges is carried out automatically by servo motors, and once the adjustment is complete, the measurement accuracy is ensured without the need for calibration. The device can be equipped with an external circulation cooling system, a duckbill-type side blowing dust prevention system, embedded intelligent modules, a host computer control system, and an external LED display screen. It is also capable of transmitting data to a network database, allowing for real-time monitoring of the data via mobile phones or computers. As required, an automatically height-adjustable lifting platform can be installed at the bottom of the equipment to automatically adjust the height of the measurement center.
