It has performed well in turning waste into valuable resources for pollution control, generating significant economic value as well as environmental and social benefits. It is mainly used in solid-liquid separation processes in production as well as in the treatment of wastewater pollution, and is applied to wastewater treatment in industries such as steel mills, coal washing and mineral processing, papermaking, and leather manufacturing. The LW type horizontal spiral centrifuge is an efficient device for solid-liquid separation, and what I would like to introduce in detail is its smaller version – the HY series of experimental horizontal spiral sedimentation centrifuges. It mainly serves as a measuring instrument to record the two-phase flow properties of the material, as well as changes in torque and power consumption of the screw. This effectively prevents the situation where one buys a large machine only to find that its processing performance does not meet their expectations. It effectively inherits the functions of the LW-type horizontal screw centrifuge: (1) it is capable of handling materials with a particle size greater than 0.005 mm and a solid content ranging from 0.5% to 40%. (2) Automatic, continuous, and sealed operation with low labor intensity for workers. (3) There is no filtering medium, so there is no risk of filter clogging; since it is intended for experimental use, the processing capacity is only 1 L/H to 500 L/H, which is exactly what laboratory personnel need. Moreover, its compact design and simple operation allow the assembly and disassembly to be completed within 30 minutes. By changing one of its structural parameters or operating parameters, it can be adapted to other materials or other industries.
