On December 5, this large marine heavy machinery was officially shipped from Rushan Port to Turkey; its weight of 2,500 tons also set a new record for the largest single shipment transported by sea from Weihai and Rushan Ports. With a loud whistle echoing through the air, the 2,500-ton ethylene glycol treatment (MEG) module of the \"mobile offshore oil and gas plant\", manufactured by Shandong Haomai Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd., set sail as the cargo ship slowly left Rushan Port, heading towards Turkey. Upon arriving at the target location at the end of January 2026, this \"huge device\" will play a crucial role in the recovery and processing of ethylene glycol, contributing significantly to controlling the costs associated with oil field extraction and facilitating the sustainable, low-carbon development of these oil fields. Lin Bin, project manager of the MEG module at Shandong Haomai Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd., said, “Our ship is expected to arrive in Singapore around December 20, and it will reach the Turkish shipyard by the end of January next year. Once there, the existing modules will be directly replaced, installed, and welded.” ”
