A series of manufacturing achievements in the fields of energy and materials are on display. According to China Chemical News, the “Laying the Foundation for a Strong Country – Exhibition of China’s Manufacturing Achievements during the 14th Five-Year Plan Period,” jointly organized by the ** Museum of China and the Public Relations Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, opened at the ** Museum of China recently. As one of the **museum exhibition** projects for 2025, this exhibition presents, through six sections – high-end manufacturing, industrial foundation, intelligent manufacturing, green manufacturing, integrated development, and a better quality of life – along with over 300 exhibits, a comprehensive overview of the vigorous development of Chinese manufacturing during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. It aims to show the public the strong capabilities of Chinese manufacturing as well as its impact on people’s lives. The reporter noted that the green manufacturing sector is centered on \"using technology to drive low-carbon transformation,\" linking together the entire chain of energy conservation, emission reduction, and recycling. Through concrete examples of green production practices, it conveys the concept of harmonious coexistence between industrial development and a green ecosystem. The key exhibits include: a fully automatic skid-mounted VOCs waste gas treatment system, a model of a steel structure cooling tower, a model of an electrolyzer for hydrogen production through water electrolysis, a model of the main pump used in the ‘Guohe-1’ CAP1400 nuclear power plant, a project for producing ethanol and proteins from exhaust gases, a mockup for the artificial conversion of carbon dioxide into starch, garments made from carbon capture fibers, a model of the largest low-temperature multi-effect seawater desalination system in China, a video showing the production line for disassembling, crushing, and recycling new energy battery cells, and a mockup of a zero-carbon industrial park.
