For a reactor with a capacity of 10,000 liters, 6,000 liters of liquid are added per batch, along with 2.5 tons of solid material. The liquid should be added all at once, while the solid material should be added gradually over a period of about 4 hours. What type of equipment is suitable for feeding these materials? Note: The solid is in powder form, with a bulk density of 0.6 to 0.7; it is soluble in water and readily soluble in organic solvents such as acetone.
What method did the original poster use? I sincerely seek advice :)
The feeding equipment for reaction vessels from Shijiazhuang Lain Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. is used – a fully automatic, sealed feeding device for reaction vessels. The feeding equipment is connected to the reaction vessel via sealed flexible connections; the material is rapidly transported through sealed pipes into the feeding chamber of the reaction vessel. During discharge into the reaction vessel, nitrogen is blown in reverse to dislodge the material from outside the gas-solid separator and to balance the pressure difference between the inside and outside, thereby accelerating the descent of the material. Nitrogen serves to displace air and prevent passivation. The material feeding process is fully enclosed, which solves the problem of dust generation in the workshop, prevents the leakage of organic solvents, and improves the working environment there. The control section is operated by a PLC; the operating modes are programmed according to the requirements of the workshop’s manufacturing processes, and custom equipment is produced to meet the specific space constraints of the workshop. The control section can be connected to a DCS control system.
