What materials should be used for storage tanks and pipes for dilute sulfuric acid and hydrogen peroxide, given the different concentrations – around 10%, 20%, 30% and so on?
A steel-lined F4 will do. For hydrogen peroxide, use PE-lined steel
Hydrogen peroxide has strong oxidizing properties and a certain degree of corrosiveness; moreover, it is unstable and decomposes into water and oxygen. Therefore, hydrogen peroxide should be stored in plastic tanks with stable properties and a certain degree of ductility. For dilute sulfuric acid, all-plastic storage tanks can be used; for very high-concentration sulfuric acid, Fuda Containers, a manufacturer of polyethylene storage tanks, recommends the use of steel-lined plastic storage tanks.

For dilute sulfuric acid, either steel-lined PTFE or PVC+FRP can be used; however, it’s difficult to implement a steel-lined PTFE solution for storage tanks, while there are no issues with pipes; For hydrogen peroxide, 316L stainless steel is recommended, as it provides the highest level of safety.
For dilute sulfuric acid, we use rubber-lined steel; for hydrogen peroxide, we use fiberglass reinforced plastic. That’s how we proceed in both cases
I happen to have both of these materials on hand, and the storage tanks I use are all those with a steel lining and PE coating
If the temperature isn’t high, go with steel-lined PTFE; this material is kind of versatile.
