The quantity of hazardous chemicals should be kept to a minimum, and it should correspond to the amount used and the storage period. Some chemicals are prone to decomposition or chemical reactions during storage, which can increase their hazard level; such chemicals need to be registered and stored properly. 2. Containers holding hazardous chemicals should be sealed to prevent the release of these chemicals due to leaks in the containers or packaging. 3. All storage containers should be labeled with accurate and easily recognizable labels. 4. The storage of chemicals, including waste materials, should take into account the properties of the chemicals and their reactivity toward one another. Incompatible chemicals should be stored separately, for example, using chemical cabinets or by separating them physically. Incompatible liquids should be provided with separate areas for collecting spilled liquid. Opening packages, transferring contents, distributing chemicals, or taking samples should not be carried out inside or on cabinets used for storing hazardous chemicals, unless the cabinets are specially designed for such purposes and appropriate safety procedures as well as protective equipment are in place ； 6. Aluminum cylindrical containers, including fire extinguishers, should be used, and care must be taken to prevent the use of incompatible hazardous chemicals in such containers. 7. Rules should be established for the acceptance and distribution of materials, as well as for the inspection of packaging of hazardous goods; detailed records, for example, are necessary. 8. Chemical packaging must be thoroughly inspected to ensure its integrity; any packaging that is leaking or dangerous should be moved to a safe location where it can be repackaged or disposed of properly. Labels should be re-applied, and if necessary, it is important to clearly identify the contents of the packaging. 9. When a room contains flammable materials or heat-sensitive chemicals, open flames or electric radiant heaters must not be used to heat the room. 10. Areas where flammable vapors or gases may occur as part of normal or abnormal operations should be classified in accordance with relevant standards and regulations. Requirements regarding fire sources should correspond to the actual situation, unless such fire sources are under control and necessary for experiments, such as when using gas lamps ； 11. Substances that are unstable at room temperature should be stored in facilities capable of maintaining a specific temperature range; where appropriate, reliable safety measures should be put in place, and the risks associated with the generation of harmful substances due to temperature changes should be clearly indicated. 12. Chemical reagents and their containers should be protected from direct sunlight. 13. Individual packaging should be selected in terms of type and size to reduce the quantity and thereby lower the risks associated with disposal; packaging that is fragile or prone to leakage should be avoided. 14. When incompatible chemicals are present in the same work area, preventive measures should be taken to avoid accidental contact or mixing between them. 15. Volatile and toxic substances should be stored in ventilated cabinets with continuous mechanical ventilation, away from heat and fire sources.
