Our company specializes in the production of pharmaceutical active ingredients, focusing on chemical synthesis. We use almost all the solvents commonly employed in chemical manufacturing plants, such as methanol, ethanol, dichloromethane, **furan, and other similar solvents. We also use corrosive substances like hydrochloric acid and thionyl chloride, as well as alkalis. The workshop needs to install anti-static flooring now, and I’m not sure what would be suitable. What are the methods for creating anti-static floors? 1. There are quite a few methods for creating anti-static floors. The main types include anti-static terrazzo floors and anti-static tile floors, as well as anti-static flooring, epoxy anti-static floors, and PVC anti-static floors. Some anti-static nanoceramic tiles utilize a completely new firing process: during production, inorganic high-temperature resistant anti-static nanomaterials are incorporated into the ceramic structure, after which it is fired at high temperatures. Therefore, it features overall anti-static properties, stable and long-lasting anti-static effects, a non-slip surface, and good wear resistance.

There are also anti-static terrazzo products that incorporate advanced anti-static technologies from home and abroad, and are developed in accordance with China’s anti-static standards to create anti-static terrazzo that does not catch fire over time. The product achieves uniform and long-lasting electrostatic discharge properties throughout its structure by combining inorganic conductive materials with cement. Through grounding treatment technology, the terrazzo as a whole gains the ability to dissipate static electricity, thereby meeting the requirements for anti-static environments in various industries and fields. Compared to traditional anti-static floor products, it offers better cost-performance, simpler manufacturing processes, greater flexibility in installation, and higher cleanliness. It achieves a perfect combination of anti-static properties and building performance.

Anti-static tiles are generally produced using the standard tile manufacturing process, with anti-static functional powders being added during firing to achieve physical modification; as a result, they offer stable anti-static properties and are easy to install. Adding aluminum foil or copper strips under the floor can further enhance their conductivity. Its advantages include stable anti-static properties, wear resistance, aging resistance, a long service life (over 30 years), Class A fire resistance, and easy cleaning; it is very popular in the market. However, there are few manufacturers capable of producing it nationwide.
4. PVC anti-static floor tiles are available in sheet and roll forms. Specifications for anti-static floor tile samples, etc., as well as those for rolled materials, vary among different manufacturers. Its antistatic performance is relatively stable, it is easy to install, but it ages easily, is not resistant to stains, is difficult to clean, and has a short service life.
