Seeking advice: The company has a process that requires the use of hydrofluoric acid, under operating conditions of -90 degrees. What material would be suitable?
Are you working on lipf6? Possible materials include Monel alloy, SIC, impervious graphite, PTFE, and precious metals. It depends on the specific conditions of the reactor.
If conditions permit, it can be manufactured from Monel alloy; using PTFE lining is more cost-effective!
It is also necessary to consider whether there is positive or negative pressure inside the furnace; PTFE tends to peel off under high temperature and negative pressure conditions
It is recommended to use Monel 400 alloy; please contact me if you need samples
