The water used for bathing in our facility is a mixture of seawater and fresh water, with a temperature of around 50 degrees. The water becomes very yellow every time it’s used; sometimes it remains yellow even after being left standing for a long time. The pipes are made of carbon steel. I would like to know if there are any solutions to this problem
First, is it possible that some other water has seeped in? As for corrosion, I think unless it’s quite severe, the color won’t remain yellow even after a long time
Corrosion is unlikely; I think it might be a leak somewhere in the pipeline, and the location of the leak is quite hidden, which has allowed external substances to get in over time. It is recommended to conduct a quantitative analysis of the water quality to determine what substances are present, and by taking into account the geographical conditions of the pipes, it will be possible to figure out the underlying cause.
There is no other water; it’s just yellow. I was wondering if the brackish water we use has an impact on the turbidity
There should be some simple filtering or treatment in place to handle seawater that enters, or is the water quality near your source not good?
There is no leakage; the pipes are laid in ducts. With cold water, the water remains clear, while it becomes cloudy with hot water
