The operating temperature is around 600 degrees; the medium contains HCL gas, and the process takes place in a fluidized bed at atmospheric pressure. High-temperature calcination is used to remove trace amounts of acid present in the powder. What materials should be used, and what methods should be employed for corrosion protection of the inner walls?
Is it a pipeline or a piece of equipment? Is it a heat exchanger? Reactor? Falling film absorber? Tower-type equipment? ……If you don’t explain these clearly, no one will be able to help you.
It wasn’t explained clearly – the gas contains HCL; what about the other components? Is there water present? Choose the material and consider anti-corrosion measures for the inner wall. What type of equipment will it be used in? Tanks, heat exchangers, pipes, or some other equipment?
Around 600 degrees in temperature, containing HCL gas; operated at atmospheric pressure, no corrosion protection required. Using high-quality carbon steel material will suffice.
