Furthermore, the optimization of the coating system is crucial for improving the coating process, especially in industrial coating applications, which is primarily reflected in the coating specifications and acceptance standards. The coating industry should improve the rationality and reliability of its supporting systems, promptly grasp and respond to users’ demand information, and foster innovation in coating products as well as these supporting systems. At present, the overall coating technology in China’s coatings industry varies widely, with some levels being quite low; there is an urgent need to raise awareness within the industry regarding the importance of coating processes. The professionalism of the painting teams is low; it is not possible to ensure an appropriate thickness and uniformity of the paint coat, nor a high quality of painting. Moreover, there are issues such as cutting corners and reselling paint.
