An enamel-lined reaction kettle is a steel chemical container equipped with a corrosion-resistant glass lining; the steel tank body ensures its pressure resistance, while the glass lining applied inside provides it with reliable corrosion resistance. When the glass-lined layer comes into contact with strong alkaline solutions, no silicoxy protective film can form on its surface, allowing the alkali to continue to erode deeper into the glass layer. The higher the concentration of the strong alkali and the higher the temperature, the greater the degree of erosion; boiling strong alkaline solutions have the greatest erosive capacity.
