We are all aware of the existence of the bottom feet of the tank; corrosion soon occurs beneath these bottom feet as well as under the tank floor, and in some cases the bottom of the tank even leaks, which is something we do not want to see. Figure 2 shows the bottom of the tank that has been sealed; polyurethane elastic putty was used to fill the gaps, followed by an acrylic polyurethane coating as a sealing layer. Such a structure can be used for over 8 years, and the cost is not high.
