We know that if no corrosion protection measures are taken for the cooler tubes in petrochemical plants, metal corrosion will occur on both the circulating water side and the gasoline side, with the corrosion on the gasoline side being much more severe than that on the circulating water side. In petrochemical plants, if no anti-corrosion measures are taken for the cooler tube bundles, the metal tubes on the gasoline side will suffer severe corrosion. This is because gasoline contains certain acidic substances and other corrosive components, and prolonged contact with carbon steel pipes accelerates the corrosion process. Although corrosion also occurs on the circulating water side, it is usually to a lesser extent. Therefore, in order to extend the service life of the equipment and ensure safe operation, it is usually necessary to apply appropriate anti-corrosion treatment to the tube bundle. .
Use low-cost, non-corrosive materials and replace them regularly. Use high-cost corrosion-resistant materials to ensure long-term use. In terms of cost, it is still cheaper to replace it regularly.
